Stephanie had to say...

Besides being an avid reader, I am a computer nut too! I am disabled/retired so I can finally read and play on the computer to my heart's content.  I am an amateur photographer and love to take photos of my grandchildren, flowers, our cat, etc.  I am in a lot of Yahoo graphics (Paint Shop Pro related) groups so spend my time learning and sharing.  I am also an avid 24 (TV show) fan and it is about the only TV that hubby and I watch but we are seriously hooked on it.  Hubby and I met on the internet 10 years ago, been married 9 and I have 4 grandchildren and he has 17!  I welcome you to check out my website that I also plan on updating soon - very behind there.

Books I like

Hi....just thought I'd post a little about the kinds of books I like.  First, I love "cozy" mysteries, especially those who feature a woman protaganist.  I also like mysteries that involve police procedures, attorney and trial stories, funny ones like Janet Evanovich and Joan Hess.  My problem is that I don't know all the authors' names.  I have read over the years a lot of cozies but don't remember who wrote what!  I have my favorites like Mary Daheim, etc., and heroines such as Mrs. Pollifax, but I am sure there are lot of books out there written by authors I have enjoyed but don't their names (either the authors or the hero/heroine).  Any ideas on how to track that would be wonderful.  I also love historical novels such as those written by Diana Gabaldon that have many sub-plots and characters.  Lastly, I am a huge Tom Clancy fan - I don't know what category his type of books are.  I'll have to look into that so I can find more like him.
